We like to be pretty lazy while we're there and just enjoy not having to rush around. It's really helpful to bring along friends and family to help make that possible and thankfully ours keep signing up for it. The boys love being surrounded with constant playmates and friends and I love watching them make memories!
We spent most early mornings watching tv and drinking coffee, well, I did at least! The boys were often being silly with Gramps.
A little later we would head to the beach on the sunnier days and take in some waves, hunt for sea life, play a little baseball, build a sand castle, or better yet, build a sand gator, catch some fish in the tidal pools, and just enjoy the view.
One cloudier day we decided to go explore some other parts of the island and forego the beach. We went to the petting zoo, playground at Sea Pines and out to lunch.
Afternoons were spent relaxing on the deck at home, playing more baseball, putting together puzzles, at least 1 million games of parcheesi, and prepping for the happy hour special - margaritas made almost entirely from scratch (he didn't make the tequila!), by Unk.
